Manipal Media Students' Convention : Wiki

Manipal Media Students' Convention (MMSC) is a formal convention aimed at generating awareness & encouraging the flow of information from the industry to the academia & vice versa. We are an information obsessed society & the tool that most mobilizes this information to the masses is the media. It is hence crucial to shape this powerful tool to transform the society.

This year, the Convention theme is titled "Communication through the World Wide Web". It is open to all those who are interested in being a part of this event.

However, 40 students/delegates will be sponsored by us, to attend this convention.

Why this Wiki?

As we have mentioned in the website, selection of the 40 delegates who will be sponsored by us, will be on the basis of a 500-word synopsis that all the participants are expected to submit. These synopses will be judged by a team of experts, and the submitters of best 40 synopses  will  be sponsored by the event organisers to come down to Manipal.

This wiki will be used as a platform for everyone to discuss their ideas for the initial synopsis, if they so wish to, and also to discuss topics for discussion during the convention.
